Whenever I buy an Australian wine I am always impressed, and I've never regretted it. Thanks for the great reviews, obviously I'll go for the cheaper ones but it's nice to dream :p

Comment on E. I agree with the commenter about the interesting mix of Pinot and Chardonnay. I wish I would have been there to taste it. Many of my customers only look at wine as a cocktail and miss the food connection. That's OK too, but cocktail wines and food wines are built differently. My motto - "drink what you like, just buy it from me ;&gt<img src="http://blog.winexing.com/emoticons/wink.png" border="0" />"

Comment on E. Thanks for a great article. The Pinot Noir/Chardonnay combination must be interesting. I thought you made a very good point - that many a French wine needs to be enjoyed with food in order to be appreciated. I think the French - more than Americans - think of it being drunk with food rather than being independent, when they make a wine.

Comment on Corks and 'Corked' Wines

Thanks for sharing this article. That’s very helpful and interesting.

Comment on Washington Wine Road Trip Part 1

I have been looking forward to your notes since learning that you were elected to go on tour.
